Skip Hire Team was built around one simple mission…make skip hire easy and honest again.
After years working for other skip hire companies, we kept seeing the same problems: late deliveries, hidden charges, zero communication and lack of clarity. It was frustrating for us…it was unfair for the customers too.
So, we decided to do things differently.
Led by our founder Gurbakhs Singh, who has worked in waste management before, we’ve grown from a small local service in Rochester to one of the UK’s go-to skip hire providers. Today, we work nationwide but we’ve stayed true to what mattered from day one: reliable service, transparent prices and friendly service
We also realised that every job requires a different need. That’s why we offer everything from small 4-yard skips to massive 40-yard containers for commercial sites. So whether you’re clearing out your house or running a big site job, we’ve got your back! Skip hire shouldn’t be a headache and with us, it isn’t.
Our journey has been anything but boring.
We started with just a few skips and a brilliant tight-knit team, who shared a genuine understanding of the gaps the industry faced and a real drive to fix it.
Word spread quickly because when you deliver on your promises, customer trust grows. That’s how we grew. One skip, one job and one recommendation at a time.

Hi, I’m Gurbakhs (but most people just call me Banty)
I started Skip Hire Team because I knew we could do things better. After spending years working in the industry, I saw the same problems over and over again: late deliveries, confusing prices, poor customer service… and I knew it shouldn’t to be that way.
So, I decided to change it.
What started as a small local service in Rochester has now grown into a nationwide team and I’m proud of how far we’ve come. But one thing’s stayed the same. We treat every customer with care, honesty and respect. Whether you’re booking one skip or fifty, you’ll get fast, fair, friendly service. That’s my promise.
